Getting HereCosta Rica has two International airports; one in San Jose and the other in Liberia. Driving from San Jose to Nosara now takes about four hours with the new highway through Punta Arenas. Driving from Liberia is about a two hour drive.
Whether you arrive in San Jose or Liberia there is private taxi service or you can rent a car. If you arrive early enough in the morning you can take a commuter plane from San Jose as long as you don’t have too much luggage. There are two companies to choose from; Nature Air [email protected] Sansa Airlines [email protected] Fares run about $200 from San Jose and $130 from Liberia for a private taxi. Rental cars can be picked up at the airports or here in Nosara. Generally the cost is less if you book in advance. |
